On July 14th, the "1st Electron Microscopy Forum of Shanghai Institute of Precision Medicine & Summer Training Course", jointly organized by the Cryo-Electron Microscopy Center of Shanghai Institute of Precision Medicine, Shanghai Society for Electron Microscopy and Suzhou Bluejayimaging, was successfully held. The conference attracted the attendance of experts and scholars in the biomedical field from universities, research institutes and hospitals, as well as electron microscopy experts from instrument and technology enterprises.

Yidon Technologies Delivered a Conference Report

Yin Xiangfei, the product manager of Yidon Technologies, delivered a conference report titled "The Application of Yidon Technologies Scanning Electron Microscope and Related Technologies in the Biomedical Field", introducing the Yidon Technologies high-resolution schottky field emission scanning electron microscope YF-1801. The YF-1801 adopts a schottky field emission electron gun, with a stable beam current, enabling high-resolution imaging capabilities at low voltages. It is also equipped with multiple detectors to simultaneously display high-resolution morphological information and high-contrast compositional information of samples. From the perspective of user experience, the interactive interface of the YF-1801 software is smooth and simple, with a concise and lively visual effect, providing a friendly experience for novice users. The knob control panel integrates the adjustment buttons for commonly used parameters of the scanning electron microscope and the sample stage control module, ensuring a safe and fast operation process. In terms of application sharing, the actual application cases of the YF-1801 field emission scanning electron microscope in the biomedical field were highlighted.

Demonstration of the Actual Application Cases of YF-1801 in the Biomedical Field

Yidon Technologies currently has four types of scanning electron microscope accessory equipment, including the plasma cleaner YP-20, plasma glow discharger PHP-4, the micromode cleaner MC-4 and the gas injection system Dalex-100. Among them, the tape surface hydrophilization treatment instrument PHP-4, which is widely used in the biomedical field, adopts an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) treatment source. It has the advantages of continuous hydrophilization treatment of tapes, significantly improving hydrophilicity, being able to be used for offline cleaning of scanning electron microscope samples, allowing the sample chamber to be pumped to a high vacuum for vacuum preservation of samples, featuring a high-definition touch screen and simple operation, etc. It can effectively solve the problem of unclear electron microscopy imaging caused by the curling and shrinking of thin slices cut in biological electron microscopy.
