On September 30th, the 2025 National Academic Annual Meeting on Electron Microscopy successfully concluded at the Wuhan International Conference Center. On the afternoon of the 27th, Jia Chen – Assistant Researcher at the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Project Manager of Yidon Technologies – delivered an excellent report titled The Application of Argon Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscopy in 3D-EBSD at the 7th Parallel Session. The report focused on Yidon Technologies' industry-first product – the Argon Ion Beam Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (ABSEM 200), and highlighted its advantages in 3D-EBSD applications, including "large size", "in-situ cutting", and "zero damage". Closely aligned with industry needs, the report, with its professional perspective and practical insights, quickly attracted the attention of on-site participants.
